Adventure Pup Photography is a boutique photography “studio” that keeps a low volume of clients in order to keep the results high-end. I focus on premium products that stand the test of time, meaning the memories of your furry pal will literally never fade.

– Full session fee due at time of reservation
– Reservation retainer is fully refundable up to 48 hours before the scheduled session; after that, a refund of 50% is available
– You may reschedule up to 48 hours before the session at no additional cost ($50 if within 48 hours of the session)
– Product credit must be used in one order
– Product credit is non-refundable

HOW IT WORKS
If you’re looking into dog photography for the first time, or if you’re already fully committed to capturing memories, the first step is to reach out so we can begin planning.
Here’s what happens when you do:
1. Choose your package
You’ll first choose a package that fits your photo needs. Even if you don’t know what you want at first, don’t worry – we can talk about what works best for your needs.
Not seeing a package that fits your needs? Build your own! And if you change your mind about what you want after you’ve seen the session images, I can make updates to create a collection that fits your needs.
When you submit your package fee and set a tentative session date – you’re officially booked!
2. Plan your session
After your session is booked, I will send out a questionnaire for you to complete. This will give me information about you and your pup, provide initial ideas for locations (if you don’t already have one in mind), and share details about your plan for displaying your photos.
I’ll process the information you provided and provide a list of suggested locations, along with a specific time and date based on each. I will also let you know what the next steps will be.
Between this planning time and the session itself, I’ll keep in touch to see if you have questions, help you plan for the session, and give you weather updates as needed.
3. Adventure Time
We will meet at our designated location for the session and begin our adventure!
Since each photo session is customized to you and your pup’s abilities, not everyone’s “next steps” will be the same here. Sometimes an adventure will have a short walk around a lake, while others will have a longer hike up a 14er, so I will let you know how things will go for the session when we begin.
What is the same for each session, though, is that you’ll play an important role in helping make sure your dog is having a good time. You can be active and help bring your pup to a position for a great hero shot, or just stand back and watch your pup be itself to capture some great candid shots. There is an opportunity for you to take photos with your pup too!
You can leave your dog on a leash at all times since it can be removed during the editing process. If you are comfortable with letting your dog off-leash (and we are in a place where it’s allowed), that’s all the better.
4. View and order
About a week after your photoshoot, I’ll share all of your photo proofs from the session.
Based on what comes with your package, as well as how you plan to display your photos, we’ll review your images and see what is needed to complete your vision. If you don’t have any plans, though, I’m happy to provide you with suggestions!
People and their pups typically spend $1,500 – $3,000 (session fee + additional products). It’s also common for people to spend upwards of $4,000!

So, about digital files…
Looking for digital files only? I’ve got ‘em, but I’m going to be honest – you don’t need them.
I can guarantee you already have “digital debt” – meaning you already have a ton of digital files from your phone or computer that you don’t often look at.
What you get from Adventure Pup Photography is awesome portraits for your home or office, and NOT something that will get lost on your computer or on your phone. Why get lost in that shuffle when you can get a print that you can surely look at every day?
If you’re really dying for a digital image, though, just know that you get a complimentary social media-optimized image with each print you purchase.
Sometimes, though, you *do* only want digital images because maybe you’re moving to a new place or updating a room that isn’t quite ready to hang up your dog portraits.
Because of those cases, you have the option of purchasing high-resolution digital files, which come with a print release and allow you to print whatever size you need and as many times as you want.
